Dancehall king, Shatta Wale has trashed claims of taking some 2 million cedis to become a brand ambassador for state Bank, Ghana Export and Import (EXIM) Bank.
He indicated that he accepted a role to project Ghana but didn’t receive any money to carry out such a task.

He said this during an interview on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty that he was to project the core values of the country at any time he’s capable.
He noted that projecting Ghana any given time he can was his motivation for accepting that role but didn’t ask for any money to do that.
The musician was earlier accused in Parliament by the member of Parliament for Kumbungu Constituency, Ras Mubarak, and Ghanaian actor Agya Koo for that money as an ambassador.

This issue became wild to the extent that people like his manager, Bulldog popped up to denied it and also indicated that his artiste deserves more than that.
