Akufo Addo To Make Big Decision Today On Either Schools Are Opening Or Not

President Akufo Addo is said to be taking his final verdict on whether schools should be open in early January 2021.

After the global pandemic, Covid 19 stormed Ghana, the government ordered that schools should be close to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The closure of school came up after calls were placed on the government to make available some Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to all schools.

However, the Information Minister, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has revealed that a cabinet meeting is to decide on the date schools will be resuming today.

He made this known via a tweet that reads “President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo prepares to meet cabinet tomorrow for a decision on the possible reopening of schools in January. Key on his agenda will be to examine the proposals for assuring the safety of our children, should schools reopen”
