Kwame A-Plus has fired the Nana Akufo Addo-led administration for organizing a ceremony to ‘celebrate’ the receipt of Covid-vaccines.
Ghana has become the first country to receive coronavirus vaccines through the Covax vaccine-sharing initiative. Delivery of 600,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine arrived in Accra on Wednesday. The first recipients are due to be healthcare workers.
Prior to that, the Information Ministry revealed there will be a brief ceremony to celebrate this ‘feat’, and as you can imagine this hasn’t gone down well with the famed political activist.
Kwame A-Plus on Instagram wrote;
“In this whole world, show me just one country with sensible leaders where there was a ceremony to welcome corona virus vaccine? Even those who developed the vaccine didn’t have a ceremony to launch it.
You bought just some few doses and that is an achievement which call for a ceremony. Norrr some big man wants to organise jams and make money. We don’t invest in research, we don’t support startups, small businesses and the youth.
All we do is to waste money on fooling. This continent ankasa is like fooling is part of our culture!!!”
