Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has dismissed concerns he may have to rotate with the FA Cup Final just three days after they host Arsenal.

The Blues have the final against Leicester City but are yet to secure a top four place despite reaching the Champions League final this season too.

The German coach faces an Arsenal side who have had a torrid season and could easily rotate but the former PSG man says they will assess each player.

Tuchel said: “No, we’ll just have an eye on the players’ workload, on the stats that we have: who is overloaded and maybe overloaded in high speed.

“From that, we will decide who is at a risk of injury. Everybody who is not at risk of injury will be available for the game, it’s not to manage the game on Saturday, now is the time to manage the game on Wednesday. We’re in the middle of a race for the top four, so we cannot pre-judge games.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has praised his opponents run of form after being asked if the Blues are the biggest test in the Premier League.

Arteta said: “Well probably they’ve been the best team in the league in the last few months, what Thomas has been able to do since he arrived has been exceptional.

“He put the team in two finals, the way the team is looking, how solid they are defensively as well, how composed and regular they have been in their performance has been excellent.”
