David Moyes has recalled Said Benrahma to the starting team following his late equalising goal against Brighton on Saturday evening.
The manager has decided on just the one change with Jarrod Bowen the man dropping out of the starting XI that drew 1-1 at the Amex Stadium.
Declan Rice once again captains the side following his fine return to the team on the south coast.
The goalkeeper and defence remain unchanged from last time out with Lukasz Fabianski once again in goal, behind a back four of Aaron Cresswell, Angelo Ogbonna, Craig Dawson and Vladimir Coufal.
Rice is joined in central midfield by Tomas Soucek who is starting his 46th straight Premier League match.
The attacking quartet is made up of Benrahma wide left, Pablo Fornals on the right, and Jesse Lingard playing in the No.10 role behind lone striker Michail Antonio.
Lingard’s Hammers career began with nine goals in his first ten Hammer appearances, but the England international has not scored or assisted in his previous four matches.
Antonio is looking for one more goal to draw level with Mark Noble on 46 Premier League goals and he needs two to equal Paolo di Canio on 47, the Hammer’s all-time leading Premier League goalscorers.
He will be desperate to get back to his devastating best over what could be his final two Hammers matches before his loan spell ends and before Gareth Southgate names his England squad for this summer’s European Championships.
Arthur Masuaku is once again sidelined with an injury and he is joined in the treatment room by Manuel Lanzini who Moyes described as having ‘a problem’ without adding further clarity to the situation.
Bowen is joined on the bench by Andriy Yarmolenko and Mipo Odubeko as the attacking options, with Mark Noble providing midfield cover if needed.
Defensively Moyes can call upon Ben Johnson, Ryan Fredericks, Fabien Balbuena and Diop with Darren Randolph the reserve goalkeeper for the night.
West Ham XI: Fabianski, Coufal, Ogbonna, Dawson, Cresswell, Soucek, Rice, Fornals, Benrahma, Lingard, Antonio.
Substitutes: Randolph, Balbuena, Diop, Johnson, Fredericks, Noble, Yarmolenko, Bowen, Odubeko.
