Ryan Mason is holding his press conference following Tottenham’s 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.
The Spurs fans were back inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with 10,000 able to watch the final home game of the club’s Premier League campaign.
They were treated to two spectacular goals in the first half from Tottenham players, only one at the right end though.
Steven Bergwijn welcomed the supporters back with a rocket of a goal early on.
He dispossessed Marvelous Nakamba high up the pitch, held off two challenges before rifling a half-volley into the top right corner.
The equaliser came out of nothing at the end other end as Sergio Reguilon sliced an attempted clearance just inside the Tottenham box over his shoulder and past the flailing Hugo Lloris.
The Spanish left-back had another nightmare before half-time as he failed to clear the ball twice and on the second occasion hit it against Bertrand Traore and the ball deflected into the path of Ollie Watkins to score.
Spurs huffed and puffed but could not find a way back in the second half to leave the fans booing at both half-time and the full-time whistle.
Our Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold is among those putting the questions to Mason after the match.
