Ballon d’Or: Pat Nevin names player to win award

Chelsea hero, Pat Nevin, has backed N’Golo Kante to win the Ballon d’Or this year.

Nevin believes Kante deserves to win the Ballon d’Or following his excellent performances for Chelsea this season.

Recall that the Ballon d’ Or was not handed out in 2020 due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kante produced a spectacular display as he helped Chelsea to claim a 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League final last Saturday night.

“It was a definitive man-of-the-match performance, underlining he would be the first pick for any team, in any period of football history, not just now.
