Police Arrest Suspect In Connection To The Beheaded UBER Driver At Feyiase

The Ghana Police Service has revealed they have in custody a suspect who allegedly beheaded an UBER driver at Feyiase in the Ashanti region.

Recall GhGossip.com yesterday made a post about how the residents of Feyiase woke up yesterday morning to meet a lifeless and headless body of a young who was later identified as Israel Agyei Manu, headteacher of Rogel Montessori Basic School at Atonsu Kumasi and also an UBER driver.

The Assembly Member for the area, Samuel Yaw Kwae yesterday narrating the story stated they started searching for the head of the lifeless body and to their surprise, they found it just some few meters away from where the body was found.

In a new development, the police in Kuntase have revealed they have arrested a suspect by the name Rashid Ibrahim in connection to the murder case that happened yesterday.

The Police via their official Twitter page stated the suspect initially gave an untenable alibi to the Police but later confessed to committing the crime and led police to retrieve the machete which he allegedly used to behead the headteacher.

They said the suspect is still in police custody pending investigations and commended the people from the Feyiase community in helping the police to identify and arrest the suspect.

Police in Kuntenase in the Ashanti region have picked up suspect Rashid Ibrahim for the cold blooded murder of Israel Agyei Manu, head teacher of Rogel Montessori Basic School at Atonsu Kumasi and owner/driver of the Bolt service Toyota Vitz vehicle with registration number GE 3170-21.

Suspect who initially gave an untenable alibi to Police later confessed to committing the crime and led police to retrieve the matchete which he allegedly used to behead…..the deceased at Feyiase New Site on 4th July, 2021. Suspect is in Police custody pending arraignment before Court. Police commend community members who volunteered their observation of the movement of neighbours and strangers alike to Police leading to the arrest.

Police assure them of the strictest confidentiality and appeals to such informants to desist from blowing their own cover by bragging about such exploits.
