Wendy Shay Describes How VGMA Awards Scheme Is Designed- Two Types Of Artist

Wendy Shay dubbed the “Queen of Ghana Music,” is still reeling from her heartbreaking loss at the just concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

Wendy Shay is exuding negative energy and talking out of grief in interviews, claiming that some of the VGMA award winners did not deserve their honors.

She revealed to Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM that there are two sorts of artists in Ghana’s music industry.

There are artists in the business who pour their hearts and souls into their work but are not acknowledged by award systems, and there are artists who are adored and dubbed “favorites” in the industry.

At award presentations, these industry favorites sweep all of the honors, leaving little for others who fought hard for it.
