Organizers of Women in Entrepreneurship (WIEG) Awards 2021 has opened nominations for its first maiden award scheme.
Women in Entrepreneurship Awards 2021 which happens to be the maiden awards nomination is opened for the public till 21st July 2021.
Speaking to the CEO of the Women in Entrepreneurship Awards, Sylvia Tweneboah-Koduah disclosed the maiden awards scheme has 35 categories across all business fields.
In an interview with Ms. Sylvia Tweneboah-Koduah, she disclosed that
“While the main purpose of WIEG is to directly support Women to start and grow their businesses, over the years, it has become extremely necessary that WIEG also starts awarding the effort of Women Entrepreneurs in Ghana since it is the only active and largest women entrepreneurship community running in the Country, hence, Women in Entrepreneurship Awards 2021”.
The event is powered by Women in Entrepreneurship, Ghana (WIEG). WIEG is a registered, not-for-profit organization that includes a network and platform of women entrepreneurs motivated to succeed. Since its establishment, over 5000 women entrepreneurs have actively participated in and benefited from this initiative, generating incomes, creating jobs and for many, translating passion into viable businesses. The WIEG also organizes seminars, workshops and training programmes for starters, entrepreneurs, and business owners who want to take their business to the next level.
