It’s been a long time coming, but the 2021-22 Premier League season looks set to go ahead with stadiums back at full capacity.
The last time Chelsea played in front of a packed-out Stamford Bridge was the 4-0 victory over Everton on March 8, 2020.
In the time since, supporters – save for a lucky few throughout last season’s “trials” – have been confined to their armchairs.
Excitement reached fever-pitch during this summer’s European Championships. While England were left disappointed at the hands of Italy, some of the football on show, as well as the sights and sounds of supporters back in stadiums en mass, whet the appetite.
Tickets to see the newly-crowned champions of Europe at club level will inevitably be at a premium. But today, a new opportunity has risen to re-enter the world of live football in style.
TravelZoo have set up a new page on their website selling official Premier League hospitality packages.
Packages include premium seats, lounge access, and, in some cases, complimentary food, drinks, and matchday program.
Opening day of the season tickets against Crystal Palace have already sold out, but the price of £162.50 gives an indication of what to expect for more that become available in the future.
It’s a ticket that grants supporters access to either the Under The Bridge lounge or the Captains’ Bar lounge, along with a padded seat near the halfway line.
You can go to the TravelZoo Premier League hospitality landing page for details of forthcoming fixtures.
