Chelsea have agreed a transfer fee with Manchester United for Lauren James.
The deal for James is worth up to £200,000, including bonuses and will be a record transfer between two Women’s Super League clubs.
Lauren, who is the younger sister of Chelsea and England defender, Reece James, has already undergone a medical at Stamford and personal terms are now being discussed.
The England striker joined Man United from Arsenal in 2017 aged 16.
Lauren made an instant impact, netting 14 goals as they won promotion from the Championship.
She helped Man United secure a fourth-place finish in the Women’s Super League last season.
Lauren has represented England at Under 17 and Under 19 level.
She was called into a senior training camp in November.
