Emerson Palmieri resigns?
It has been reported that Emerson Palmieri has handed in a resignation letter to the home of the Champions of Europe according to Calciomercato.
The Euro 2020 winner only featured in two Premier League matches for the Blues last season and it has been reported that if the 26-year-old is to leave the West London side he may return to Italy.
The Chelsea defender has been linked with potential moves to Juventus, Roma, Inter Milan and Napoli.
Erling Haaland offer
The Blues are determined to bring in a new striker this summer and Emerson’s departure would help them financially in the chase for their ideal goalscorer.
Chelsea have not made any new signings yet in this summer transfer window but they are eager to change that as they are extremely keen to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
The Blues have been linked with Haaland many times during this transfer window, however, it is reported that Borussia Dortmund do not want to let the striker go.
It has been reported that Chelsea could find up to £112m to bring Haaland to Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel believes it is absolutely essential that they have a new high goal scoring striker for the new season and is determined to do what it takes to make that a reality even if it means spending a huge amount of money.
Tuchel praised by youth director
Volker Kersting, Mainz youth director has praised Thomas Tuchel after he was commended as the German coach of the year. Tuchel knows what it is like to be in Kersting’s shoes as he spent 12 months as the youth coach at Mainz.
The Chelsea manager has had an extremely impressive year with the blues especially after winning the Champions League which Chelsea have only ever done twice in their history.
Chelsea’s impressive run doesn’t stop with them just securing the Champions League. The blues went from ninth position in the Premier League table up to fourth securing that all important position something of which Kersting was very impressed by and praised the Chelsea boss for.
Chelsea interested in Sergio Romero
It is reported that Thomas Tuchel is particularly interested in 34-year-old Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero.
After Willy Caballero left the Blues at the end of last season that made way for a new goalkeeper to join the team alongside already Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
It is understood that Romero has been shortlisted as one of the potential targets to fill Caballeros shoes by the West London club.
Chelsea are not the only ones interested in the Argentine. Juventus and Everton are also very much interested in signing him too.
