Hello everyone and welcome to Sunday’s Arsenal live blog from football.london.

The Gunners have just 24 days left to do their transfer business, with the summer transfer window closing on August 31.

The north London club have already added Ben White, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares to their squad and will be hoping to offload several of their fringe players in order to afford transfers for a goalkeeper to challenge Bernd Leno and an attacking midfielder to help ease Emile Smith Rowe of the creative burden.

football.london understands that technical director Edu has made Leicester City’s James Maddison a key target for the attacking midfield position, but the Foxes are reportedly demanding in excess of £60million for the 24-year-old.

As first reported by football.london earlier this week, the Brazilian sounded out the possibility of a player-plus-cash offer involving Hale End graduates Reiss Nelson, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah but the East Midlands side are not interested in a swap deal.

The latter himself is being linked to Graham Potter’s Brighton side, as Arsenal need to offload a striker in order to sign one of Lautaro Martinez or Tammy Abraham.
