Hello everyone and welcome to Monday’s Arsenal live blog from football.london.

The north London club have just 22 days left to do their transfer business, with the summer transfer window shutting on August 31.

The Gunners have already signed young trio Ben White, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares but are far from finished in terms of incoming, with a goalkeeper and an attacking midfielder both targeted in the coming weeks.

football.london understands that the club’s technical director Edu has made Leicester City’s James Maddison his number one target for the attacking midfield position, although the Foxes reportedly want in excess of £60million for the former Norwich City playmaker, a fee that means Arsenal would need to offload several fringe players before tabling such a bid.

football.london understands that Hale End graduate Joe Willock is being chased by Newcastle United and the two clubs have finally agreed on a fee in excess of £20million for the 21-year-old.
