An investigation into the price of football season tickets conducted by Reach has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have the most expensive season ticket in the Premier League and the entire country.
The top priced adult season ticket at Spurs’ new ground costs £2,223 which is more than any other club’s top priced ticket in the top four divisions of English football.
That price is only rivalled by Tottenham’s bitter foes Arsenal, who have the next most expensive annual season ticket at £2,013.
At £1410, reigning Champions Manchester City are third in this particular table, whilst West Ham (£1,410) and Southampton (£1,149) follow closely behind.
Meanwhile, Burnley have the division’s cheapest ticket at £319 for the entire season, just one pound less than the Hammers’ cheapest ticket at £320.
The north London outfits also have the most expensive single-match tickets in the country.
Spurs fans can pay up to £98 for an individual match adult ticket, whilst the Gunners’ support can also expect to purchase a seat for a very similar price (£97).
The teams get their Premier League seasons underway this weekend, with Arsenal facing newly promoted Brentford at the Brentford Community Stadium before taking on Chelsea at the Emirates on August 22.
Meanwhile, Spurs welcome their season ticket holders back to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium for Nuno Espirito Santo’s first-game in charge against Manchester City on Sunday.
