Chelsea’s Champions League group for the 2021/22 season has been confirmed, with the Blues facing Juventus, Zenit St Petersburg and Malmo in this year’s competition.
The Blues will be looking to retain the trophy they won back in May with a 1-0 win over Manchester City in Porto clinching their second-ever triumph in the competition.
And the draw pits Chelsea against last season’s dethroned Serie A champions, as well as Russian and Swedish champions Zenit and Malmo respectively in what appears to be a favourable set of teams for Thomas Tuchel’s side.
There is also plenty of transfer news to discuss with potential incomings in the shape of Jules Kounde and Saul Niguez from La Liga outfits Sevilla and Atletico Madrid respectively.
Kurt Zouma is also on the cusp of leaving the club and we will be discussing the possible ramifications of all three of those deals with you below.
And for good measure, there’s also discussion around Tuchel and Jorginho being crowned UEFA’s manager and player of the year during the draw.
Our Chelsea Fan Brands team of Scott Clayton and Anita Abayomi will be discussing all things Chelsea in the chatroom below in the comments section – and you can take part and ask about anything from the draw, current Chelsea transfer topics or anything else that crosses your mind about the club.
The Q&A session will begin soon, but you can begin submitting your questions in the comments section below, with Scott and Anita then answering as many of your queries about the draw and the latest transfer news as possible.
