Chelsea fans have expressed their confidence after the Blues found out their 2021/22 Champions League group opponents.
The draw for the competition was made on Thursday evening, with Thomas Tuchel’s men being placed in Group H as the reigning champions.
They were joined by Juventus, Zenit St Petersburg and Malmo, with former Chelsea duo Michael Essien and Branislav Ivanovic handing the Blues a huge favour.
The draw is certainly a big boost for the west Londoners, having avoided tough opponents such as Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, with the trio having been placed in Pot 2 for the draw.
Supporters have since been expressing their thoughts on Chelsea’s upcoming opponents, with some even being confident of the Blues lifting a second consecutive title and the club’s third overall.

Following the excitement from supporters, they will not have to wait long for the competition to get underway, with Chelsea aiming to defend their Champions League crown.
The fixtures for matchday one are set to take place on either September 14 or 15, with the final round of group matches set for December 7 or 8, by which time Chelsea will surely hope to have booked their place in the knockout rounds.
The exact date of fixtures and opponents will be announced by 11am on Saturday morning.
Whilst Chelsea were handed a relatively kind draw for the new campaign, the evening then got even better for Chelsea with a number of awards being won.
Thomas Tuchel was named the UEFA Men’s Coach of the Year, whilst Jorginho earned the player award.
