Chelsea fans absolutely loved N’Golo Kante’s reaction to scoring for Chelsea as they beat Tottenham 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues ran out deserved winners in the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following three second-half goals.

French midfielder Kante came on at half-time as coach Thomas Tuchel made the bold move to replace Mason Mount after an indifferent first-half display from the England star.

And the move paid off as the Blues took control and Kante got himself on the scoresheet as his shot took a big deflection off Eric Dier and fly in off the post.

But fans were left amused by the Frenchman’s reaction following the goal, saying it appeared he ‘didn’t know how to celebrate’.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “N’Golo Kante scoring and not knowing how to celebrate will never ever get old. He is as humble as you’d expect.”

Another added: “N’Golo Kante scoring and not knowing how to celebrate will never ever get old.”

A third wrote: “Imagine N’Golo Kante scoring and don’t even know how to celebrate. Man was so humble.”

Chelsea broke the deadlock four minutes into the second half when defender Thiago Silva crashed in a thumping header from a corner.

Following Kante’s goal, Antonio Rudiger connected with Timo Werner’s cross from 12 yards out to wrap up another hard-earned victory for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

The Blues moved to the top of the Premier League after claiming the three points as they moved above Liverpool and United with all three teams locked together on 13 points.

After the win Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel praised Kante for his performance.

“Top player, if you have N’Golo you have something everyone is looking for,” Tuchel said. “You have everything you need in midfield, you have work rate, intensity, ball wins, skilful play, dribbles, half-field drives and even a goal.

“I see this every day in training and it is hard to believe how good he is. He is a unique guy, there are no more words from me. N’Golo is N’Golo, he is fantastic.”
