Mikel Arteta has finally started to utilise Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in his much favoured number nine position.
The club captain has started every game as the lone forward since his return from illness at the start of the season and has managed to score four goals in all competitions this campaign.
Previously the Arsenal manager would constantly play the striker on the left-hand side which nerfed the threat of the 2018/2019 golden boot winner.
However, Arteta may be interested in signing Anthony Martial from Manchester United in the hope to use him in the same way he attempted with Aubameyang.
As per Ekrem Konur, the Frenchman is set to leave Old Trafford after a poor start to the campaign, with both the Gunners and Spurs reportedly set to table offers.
The 26-year-old sent shockwaves through the Premier League after his debut goal against Liverpool in 2015.
He has had a very inconsistent career at Manchester United since and has scored 78 goals in 264 games for the Red Devils whilst providing 50 assists in the process.
Despite the inconsistency, Martial will certainly be an attractive player for Arteta due to his ability to feature just as strongly on the left-hand side as he can do in the striker position.
The French international has altered from both positions during his time in Manchester, playing 120 times on the left-hand side and 126 times as a striker.
He is also efficient in both, scoring 32 whilst on the wing and 43 when he was leading the line.
Arsenal have struggled to offer goals from the wing positions this Premier League campaign, with main starters Bukayo Saka and Nicolas Pepe yet to get on the scoresheet.

This could be enough persuasion to bring in the Frenchman as the team has been heavily reliant on Aubameyang to score the goals for the club.
Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are currently set to leave the club on a free transfer which will leave Arsenal short in the striker position and when you consider Martial’s versatility, he could be the perfect signing for the Gunners.
Meanwhile, any move would most likely depend on the level of valuation from Manchester United.
