Squid Game Is Happening In Real Life This Week.

The South Korean Netflix drama squid game has become popularly known and there is a repeat organised by the Korean Cultural Center in the United Arab Emirates and it’s all opening this week.

If you have seen the series you will know this series is all about debt ridden contestants  in deadly tasks inspired by playground games,  against the desperate one’s in which the poor can sign away their right to life.

However, the Korean Cultural Center is re-creating the game for pleaure and out of the six games played a total of four will be chosen. Games like the Dalgona Candy and Red Light Green Light challenges, which have already gone viral on TikTok will be played and players will also try their hand at Marbles and Ddakji.

In addition, the real life special event which is set to take place in a two-hour, tournament-style sessions will see teams of 15 people take on four of the six games from the series.

Also, unlike the series which has a cash prize of 45.6 billion won (£28m) at stake the organizers of the real life game says no cash price has been set.

In conclusion, Nam Chan-woo told the Khaleej Time that players will wear branded Squid Game T-shirts, while staff will wear the pink circle, triangle and square outfits worn by guards in the show.
