Mikel Arteta is set to face the press after Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace in the Premier League at the Emirates.
A disappointing night started well for the Gunners who went in front after just seven minutes when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pounced well onto a Vincente Guaita save from a Nicolas Pepe shot.
Mikel Arteta’s side then seem to be in control and had high intensity in the early part of the match, but as the game went on Palace began to grow into the game. They were however, lucky to go in to the break with 11 men though after James McArthur’s challenge of Bukayo Saka.
Patrick Vieira’s side were then rewarded for their improvements with a goal from Christian Benteke after an error from Thomas Partey early in the second half.
The Eagles then threatened to cause a major upset when Odsonne Edouard fired a shot in off the underside of the bar where Aaron Ramsdale and Ben White might have done better.
However, substitute Alexandre Lacazette was on hand to turn home in the dying seconds after a bit of penalty box pinball from a corner.
