Middlesbrough are trying to press Chelsea, but they just don’t have the ability or quality to pull it off.
This goal was the best example. Boro had played really well following Romelu Lukaku’s opening goal, but in the end it was just a simple move that allowed Chelsea out from the back and found Hakim Ziyech in loads of space on the right.
He took a rather hopeful shot – but in the end that was all it took to beat the keeper and make Chelsea’s lead that much more comfortable.
