“It’s a living organism” – MP speaks out in defence of Chelsea as fans given hope of buying tickets » Chelsea News

It was only Chelsea season ticket holders allowed in the stadium on Saturday as The Blues travelled to Middlesbrough for the FA Cup quarter-finals.

They won the game 2-0 to setup a semi-final matchup with Crystal Palace, and the concerns are that once again they will not be allowed to sell any further tickets for the match due to the Government sanctions put in place on Roman Abramovich.

It looks like common sense will soon prevail though and Chelsea will be allowed to sell tickets moving forward, as long as the profits go to those effected in the Ukraine, according to a UK Government MP today.

Julian Knight MP, Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee chair, has been speaking today on the subject and he is adamant that Chelsea should and will be allowed to sell tickets, calling them a ‘living organism’ of the local community.

This is excellent news for Blues fans.
