Kai Havertz reaches important milestone with latest goal » Chelsea News

Kai Havertz has scored early for Chelsea against Watford, marking his return to the team with a bang after a spell out.

He may add more later in the game – there’s plenty of time still to play – but even if that’s his lot, it takes his season tally to 20 goal contributions -14 goals and 6 assists in all competitions.

That’s a very solid return for a player we should remember is just still just 22 years old.

He will need him to improve on that return if he’s to continue playing up front, but it’s a very solid start, and we can see him scoring 20 goals next season if he continues as first choice striker.

He offers to much in terms of his pressing and his creativity when dropping deep that 20 would be more than enough to justify his place in the team.

The German just needs to find the consistency to keep his best form going for long periods.
