We heard over the weekend that Romelu Lukaku had sacked his agent and had appointed a lawyer as his new representative.
That lawyer was apparently set to meet Inter Milan officials this week to discuss a return to the Serie A side, and while we still have our doubts about how on Earth a move could be possible, financially, we’re hearing more and more reports that the meeting at least is a reality.
Confermato: l’avvocato rappresentante di #Lukaku sarà domani a Milano per incontrare la dirigenza dell’#Inter.

Fabrizio Biasin, who has a blue tick as his main credential has written today that the news is true that there will be a meeting.
It will be interesting to see what the results of such a meeting could be. But unless Lukaku is willing to take an unprecedented wage cut, or unless Inter have found £100m down the back of the sofa, the financial realities of a return to the San Siro just don’t add up.
