Napoli want Chelsea striker to replace outgoing target man » Chelsea News

Chelsea went all out and spent more than £100m on a striker from Serie A last summer, and ended up with Romelu Lukaku.

They may be wishing they had instead spent that money on another target man tearing up Serie A. Victor Osimhen has been consistently brilliant for Napoli, and looks like he could be on the move this summer.

As part of football’s grand merry go round of transfers, the Italian side are apparently now looking at a Chelsea player to replace him.

Armando Broja is still young but showed flashes of real talent with Southampton last season, and Napoli are hoping to persuade Chelsea to sell now, before he really breaks out as a potential star.

The problem for the Neapolitans is that with Lukaku struggling, Thomas Tuchel may well look to keep Broja around his first team squad in the season to come.

At this point, we have no idea who is going to end up where – and it’s all rather exciting.
