“I’ll try everything I can”

Chelsea right back Reece James has said that he will do all he can to become a regular for Chelsea and England next season.

After having already nailed down that role for Chelsea, James says he is now aiming to do the same for England ahead of the World Cup that is soon approaching.

James has been excellent for Chelsea since being a place in the senior squad by Frank Lampard, and he has improved month by month and many will say that he’s the best right back in England right now, and some will even argue in the world.

His ability shines through and he is playing the best football of his career right now. He will have to compete with others to be England’s main right back for the future, but as reported by The Daily Mail, he aims to keep performing well to prove that he can be that guy.

“I’ll try everything I can [to be first choice],” said James. “Only my performances will be able to prove what I can bring. In these games and building into next season I’ll hopefully be able to show that I’m ready to play every game.”
