Petr Cech was playing at Soccer Aid today, and he did a quick interview about his role as Chelsea technical director.
He was asked about what had stopped Chelsea fulfilling their potential this season past, and he said it was just “consistency” between them and the two teams at the top – although he also said Covid had been an issue.
There was one other thing he thought the team could do better, something that the Jose Mourinho teams he played in did exceptionally well.
You can see him speaking in the clip embedded here:
🔑 “We just need to be consistent. The consistency is the key.”
👏 “City & Liverpool are the most consistent. They’ve been incredible.”
