BREAKING: Atiku Picks Governor Okowa As Running Mate For 2023 Presidential Election

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday, announced Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as his running mate in the general election.

The former Vice-President of Nigeria unveiled Okowa as his running mate in Abuja.


He said, “He will be by my side and work hard every day to provide our people the security, revive our economy, improve education and unite our country…”

Atiku said making a choice between the three names given to him was difficult.

Atiku also tweeted on his official Twitter handle, “I am delighted to announce Governor @IAOkowa as my Vice Presidential candidate. I look forward to travelling our great country together, engaging with all Nigerians and building a shared future of peace, unity, and prosperity for all. As One We Can Get It Done. #OneNigeria. -AA.”
