It’s clear what Chelsea’s transfer saga of the summer will be already – the departure of Romelu Lukaku is dominating these pages, hour after hour, day after day.

According to the Italian transfer insider, Chelsea and Inter will have another face to face meeting tomorrow about the deal.
The €5m deal first offered by Inter as a loan fee has been turned down, but the Italian club are ready to offer a better proposal.

Well obviously – we could have told you that bid would be turned down even before they made it. They’re the ones who need to get the deal done quickly, so they better start making more realistic offers sharpish.
Chelsea have less time pressure – but they also know that if Lukaku doesn’t go to Inter, they may have to keep hold of him.
