Inter put striker up for sale to raise Lukaku funds » Chelsea News

The return of Romelu Lukaku to Inter has legs – but all along we’ve doubted the Italian club’s ability to raise the cash to get it done.

They’re determined to do their best though, and it looks like that involves selling players from the fringes of their squad.

First up is Andrea Pinamonti, who spent last season on loan with Empoli where he made a great impact, scoring 13 goals and 2 assists.

Football Italia report that Inter have put a for sale sign on him, with interest from Fiorentina, Monza and Bologna.

If they can get €20m or so for him, which is probably a stretch, it puts them a hell of a lot closer to Lukaku.

There would still be a long way to go, but given how positive the negotiations seem to have been so far, we couldn’t rule it out. Time is tight – but with will on all sides, it can happen.
