Things are heating up for Chelsea in the transfer market, well, at least a little bit anyway.
Things are starting to move and click into place and the transfer dominoes are starting to fall.
Romelu Lukaku will sign with Inter Milan next week, and then the search for a replacement will bubble up to boiling point.
There have been many names linked with Chelsea for the attack, and the thought is that they are expected to bring in two new forwards this summer, replacing Lukaku and probably at least one more attacker.
The likes of Raheem Sterling, Richarlison, Ousmane Dembele, and many others have all been strongly linked with Chelsea recently, and the reliable Ben Jacobs had the latest inside info on all of them, as well as centre-back targets, the midfield, and outgoings this summer in a hour-long Podcast appearance on The Si & Dan Talk Chelsea Podcast.
The below is just a little snippet on the attackers…
“Sterling is the No.1 target, I think the fee will be £40m-£45m.
“Tuchel said directly to Boehly he admires Dembele. Chelsea are put off by high wages, this needs discussing internally. No chance for PSG.”
