Superstar transfer names wont ‘fit the existing plan’ at Chelsea as Thomas Tuchel focuses on two other names » Chelsea News

Thomas Tuchel has been given all the power this summer at Chelsea as he looks to build the squad that HE wants to work with.

The club are trying to close the gap on Manchester City and Liverpool this season, but to do this, they need some major reinforcements in the squad and a bit of a revamp.

Sources: 18 attackers that are on Chelsea’s transfer shortlist this summer.

So far, not so good, with the club failing to register a single new signing this window. But there’s time left of course, and Tuchel has his ideas for targets and has handed those names to the new owners, and those owners are working on trying to sign a number of these targets right now.

According to Nick Purewal of PA Media, superstar transfer names such as Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo, both linked with Chelsea recently, are unlikely to be pursued by the club this summer because they do not ‘fit the existing plan’.

Instead, Chelsea are focusing on Raheem Sterling and Raphinha as targets in attack.
