A man named Saeed has claimed that he was hired and fired by Twitter within a 24-hour period.
On February 8th, 2023, Saeed announced on Twitter that he had just started his first day as a software engineer at the social networking site.
He took to the platform and posted a photo of himself wearing a Twitter-branded sweatshirt to celebrate.
He wrote; “Hello guys it’s my first day as a Twitter software engineer wish me luck!”
However, the following day, Saeed revealed that he had unfortunately been let go from the company.
He shared a tweet saying that he had been called into Elon Musk’s office
“Just got called in to Elon’s office. mom come pick me up 4 million people saw a selfie of mine that wasn’t intended to be seen by that many people now I feel kinda vulnerable,” he tweeted.
He later posted a screenshot of the email from Twitter’s HR department, explaining that his behavior was unacceptable and led to his termination.
