Footballer Taiwo Awoniyi welcomes his second child with his partner hours after scoring on his first game of the season

Nigerian Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest attacker, Taiwo Awoniyi came off the bench to score in the 82nd minute as Arsenal defeated them 2-1 in their opening fixture of the new Premier League season at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

The strike from Taiwo Awoniyi on Birthday against Arsenal on Saturday afternoon, saw him equal a 28 years old record, becoming the only second Nottingham Forest player to score in five consecutive Premier League appearances since Stan Collymore did the same 28 years ago.

After equaling Nottingham Forest 28 years old record after his strike on his birthday against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, the Nigerian International took to social media to share congratulatory messages after welcoming a new born baby.

Taiwo Awoniyi shared a congratulatory message on the welcome of his new born baby on his birthday after scoring against Arsenal which reads: “Best gift. Congratulations @mrs_taiyeawoniyi @awoniyi18”
