Tobi Amusan Wins Heat 2 in World Championships Final

World record holder in women’s 100m hurdles, Tobi Amusan, overcome a slow start to win Heat 2 of the semi-final of the event at the World Athletics Championships Wednesday night in Budapest, Hungary. The

 12.56secs Amusan clocked in the semi-final was no where near the 12.48 she ran in the heat Tuesday night. 

Her strong finish denied Jamaican Ackera Nugent, who was fastest out of the block into early lead, the chance to savour winning the race.

This is Amusan’s third consecutive World Championships final since breaking into the top bracket at the Doha 2019 World’s.
