Maduka Okoye will hope to resurrect his career in Italy with Udinese after he sank into obscurity at English Championship side Watford.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper has signed a four-year contract with Serie A club Udinese till June 2027.
The goalkeeper, who will be 24 on Monday, will wear jersey no 40.
His move to England with Watford did not go to plan after he failed to make his English Championship debut and managed only a handful of appearances in cup games.
His inactivity at Watford cost him his Super Eagles No 1 shirt.
