Popular Nigerian rapper, Dremo has shown support for Grammy-winner, Burna Boy on his statement about Afrobeats.
Recall that in a recent interview, Burna Boy claimed that most Afrobeat singers sing about good times. He also claimed that these singers lack substance and real-life experience.
Wading into the controversy this ignited, Dremo claimed that most singers lack substance but are pushed by marketing.
He tweeted;
“I get where burna is coming from, some of these cats have zero substance but 100% marketing .. I’m happy for y’all but just stay humble abeg , we know the talented ones”
