In a viral voice note, a serving youth corps member has expressed his frustration after giving more than half of his monthly allowance of 33,000 Naira to his girlfriend, only to face additional financial demands from her.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member had received his monthly stipend from the federal government and decided to send 25,000 Naira of it to his girlfriend.
However, he soon found himself bombarded with requests for more financial assistance from her.
Clearly exasperated by the constant demands, he firmly informed her that he would not be sending any more money until the end of the year.
He emphasized that he is not a working-class individual and does not have an additional source of income apart from his monthly allowance.
The man could be heard saying …
“I am not even sending you any money again, from now till December you cannot see any money from me. I am not working nah!. Ontop N33,000 I am collecting, I still gave you N25k like three days ago…”
